Olivia Newton-John's Florida home is now the site of an apparent suicide after a 42-year-old man was found dead on her property. According to the New York Daily News, authorities said the unidentified man was found with a gunshot wound inside the South Florida home owned by Newton-John and her husband, John Easterling.

Jupiter police Sgt. Scott Pascarella told the newspaper that the man didn't live at the house and wasn't related to the residents. They said he did have permission to be at the house but wasn't staying at the house. Even though the death is a suspected suicide police are still investigating it. Sgt. Pascarella didn't say whether foul play was involved.

According to Palm Beach Post, construction was being done at the house and the man is said to be a contractor. Some witnesses reportedly saw the man crying before he was found dead. Newton-John and her husband were not home at the time of the incident.

Several gossip websites reports that the house had been sold and TV personality Rosie O'Donnell was under contract to purchase the house. Gossip Extra reports that she sold her Miami home for $16.5 million in June and was supposed to sign her new contract later in the month.

There's no word on whether O'Donnell would still be moving into the house but Gossip Extra says the former talk show host said through her spokeswoman: "This is a terrible tragedy, and we're not commenting at this time."

The singer's hit songs included "You're The One That I Want" with John Travolta in the 1978 film "Grease" and "Let's Get Physical" in 1981.
