As the story takes place over the course of several years, producers of HBO's hit series "Game of Thrones" must continually strive for continuity in a show where its child actors may grow up faster than the characters they play. This includes the character of Tommen Baratheon, King Joffrey's sweet little brother, who has reportedly been recast, and the new actor looks a lot more like our favorite villian Joff, according to WinterIsComing.net.

According to WinterIsComing sources, the role of Prince Tommen Baratheon will be taken over by 15-year old Dean Charles-Chapman, represented by Troika Talent, the same agency that represents fellow co-stars Lena Headey, Richard Madden, Oona Chaplin, Carice van Houten, Joe Dempsie, and Hannah Murray.

Chapman will likely appear in episode three of season four, as the role of the character will be much more prominent in the upcoming season. Fans have long speculated that the role of Tommen would be recast, as the previous actor, Callum Wharry, has not aged along with the role.

In order to film some of the more controversial scenes in the show, executive writers and producers David Beneioff and D.B. Weiss had to up the age of Joffrey by a few years, and it looks like the same thing is happening for Tommen. Many fans may not care about or even notice the change, however, as Wharry has been missing in action from the show since episode 9 of season 2.

Chapman previously appeared on "Game of Thrones" playing Martyn Lannister, one of the squires captured and killed by the Stark army in season three. The actor has also starred in "The Revolting World of Stanley Brown," and was most recently seen on TV on "The White Queen" playing Richard Grey.

The highly anticipated fourth season of "Game of Thrones" has also begun filming in Iceland, though if WinterIsComing's sources are correct and Chapman is indeed to be recast as Tommen, he has likely not yet begun filming, as King's Landing scenes are filmed in Croatia and Belfast.

WinterIsComing have contacted HBO to confirm the news, which was first picked up in February when it was announced that Chapman would join the cast.

Do you think Dean-Charles Chapman would be a good pick for Tommen Baratheon?
