Teresa Giudice may still be in prison, but that's not stopping her husband, Joe, and their four daughters—Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Aurdiana—from filming!

Joe worked out a deal with Bravo to have a reality show focused on his life as a forced single dad these past few months, reported Us Weekly. The deal is for one hour-long special on the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" family, which could lead to additional episodes and/or a series.

Filming began earlier this month. The special will show how the family is dealing at home without Teresa, who has been behind bars since January serving a 15-month prison sentence for bank fraud.

Earlier this year, Joe spoke to Us Weekly about the series and how they've been handling things since the fraud incident. "Days go by quick," he said. "They go to school, they come back, they do their homework. Who's gotta go here? Who's gotta go there? They have their little breakdowns here and there. They'll say, 'Daddy, when's she going to be out?' Or 'I miss Mommy.' I just make sure to give them lots of love and a lot of kisses."

At first, Bravo wasn't quite sure they wanted to film a series about someone involved in such an illegal mess like this one, so it took a lot of negotiating, according to Radar.

"The last thing Joe wanted to do was a reality show," an insider said. "But it was really the only option because there was no money coming in. With Joe still not working, just putting food on the table was becoming very hard without handouts from their parents."

Joe was dealt a 41-month sentence following the charges, but luckily the judge allowed him and his wife to serve their sentences at different times. Once Teresa is released, Joe will begin his much longer time in jail.

Bravo has not made an official comment on the show yet, and it is unclear when it will air.
