At Sunday's U.S. Open, Dustin Johnson may have not have gone home with the trophy, but he was happy enough to just have the beautiful Paulina Gretzy by his side.

The golfer lost to Jordan Spieth by one stroke just three feet away from the hole, causing him to miss the playoffs, and his fiancée ran immediately to his side to comfort him, according to E! News.

The 26-year-old model gave him a quick kiss and handed them Tatum, their five-month-old son, and the happy family enjoyed their time together instead of heading to the trophy ceremony to pick up his second place medal.

When Tatum was born, Johnson gushed to PEOPLE about his new son. "From the first day he's born, your perspective on life completely changes," he said at the time. "Things that were important aren't important anymore. He's the only thing that's really important, and being there for him and being a role model for him."

While coming in first place would have been a huge accomplishment for the star golfer, he says has too many good things going for him at the moment to get upset over it.

"At the end of the day it's just golf," Johnson said after his loss, according to USA Today. "I've got my family and that's most important to me. My trophy at the end of the day is holding up my little man. I couldn't be more proud of myself and my family. No matter what I'm going to keep my head high and happy."

He has felt loss like this before in previous matches, but he's also won the PGA Tour title eight years in a row. He is ranked No. 3 in the world and is going to continue to play his heart out.

Luckily for him, he has a wife as stunning as Gretzky to go home to at the end of the day to make things better. Gretzky recently posted her first post baby body photo, and people couldn't stop talking about how amazing she looked.

Johnson may have lost yesterday - while making nearly $900,000 according to The Washington Post - but it seems that he wouldn't trade the moments he shares with his family for the world.
