Cat videos are undoubtedly the best videos, but what happens when you take them to new heights - or in this case new altitudes?

You get this:

Looks like what was supposed to be a routine flight over Kourou, a commune in French Guinea, became a flight everyone in that video will never forget.

While cats aren't one of the things you would usually look for during a pre-flight check, it wouldn't hurt to be on the look-out for them; or else in mid-flight you'll have a cat crawling from the wing and attempting to enter the cockpit.

Jantot, the pilot, was both amazed and amused by the sight. It took his flight partner a little longer to realize what was going on, but once she did it was only natural to share his sentiments as well. Interestingly enough, the only one calm during that video was the cat itself. It calmly stares at the flight crew, for a good portion of the video, as if it belongs in the air.

Fortunately, the cat was unharmed during the filming of that video and they're now considering adopting it as the latest mascot for their flying club.
