The first video shows footage of the actual match after it took place. The second video shows the incident that started the whole grudge.
HNGN takes a look back at WWE Divas champions Nikki and Brie Bella’s encounter with the entertainment company’s Kharma character on WWE Monday Night 'Raw' episode on May 30, 2011.
“You know, ever since I was a kid I had two dreams, and the first was to become a WWE superstar,” Kharma said to the round of applause in the video before the Bella twins came into the ring and ignited the spark for a year after pregnancy!
“Everyone said that me standing here in front of you was impossible. I even went out for season two of “Tough Enough” and Jim Ross told me that I was too fat to ever be a WWE diva. I took his words. I packed them up and I took them across the ocean to Japan where I scrubbed the floors of wrestling dojos in exchange for training to become a wrestling master,” Kharma continued.
“I then moved on to every wrestling promotion in every dank stank corner of the world from here to Denmark until finally my dream came true. This year WWE made me welcome,” she said in the digital entertainment.
“My other dream, a little bit more personal, I like many other girls and women have always wanted to be a mother, and I will because I am currently with child,” she proudly stated. “Unfortunately for me, this is a high risk pregnancy and I cannot compete or do anything physical and risk losing my child, but I will be back and I just wanted to thank all of you for letting me share my dream. I’ll be back.”
The Bella twins then come out and insult Kharma, who then proclaims to the pair that she has a new dream and hopes that the twins are still performing after she gives birth to her child.
But while the Bella twins argue in a post-match interview, the two come together and think on the same wavelength after they express their upcoming obstacles.
“Brie, I gotta put you on the spot here. Why did you leave your sister to be attacked on Raw?,” the commentator asked.
“Wow wow wow, hold on, first off, I attacked Kharma,” Brie firmly stated in reply.
“You wouldn’t even have attacked her if you didn’t know I was about to attack her next. And not to mention when the going got rough you got going and ran away,” Nikki then blurts back.
“Umm, you wouldn’t have done the same thing?” Brie then asks before Nikki concedes and agrees with her sibling. “Yea, whatever you’re right,” she said.
“Now I have to defend my diva’s championship against Kelly Kelly and I have to battle out with that powerful wench Natalia up next,” Nikki then stated about what was at the time an upcoming nusance.
The two then walk off hand in hand as a team, as if nothing happened.
“Can we please get back on the same page,” Brie inquired. “We were never off.” While the video is from 2011, it never gets old.
