HTC, the Taiwanese tech giant is rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update to its HTC One A9 smartphones in Europe. Google, the Android OS maker released the Android 7.0 Nougat in the month of August last year. The Android 7.0 Nougat OS has amazing features loaded that will boost the user's experience.

 Many tech giants along with HTC have rolled out the update to its top end unlocked devices. The carrier-based devices are also seen with the Nougat update. As per the new report from the Android Soul, HTC One A9 Smartphone users will soon have the Android 7.0 Nougat update in other countries in Europe as the update has already started to hit the smartphones in Belgium.

The Android 7.0 Nougat that is arriving via OTA has a software version 2.17.401.2 which also brings February security patches for the device.  The HTC One A9 smartphones in the company's home country Taiwan and in the United States of America are already updated with the Android 7.0 Nougat update.

The users will receive a notification on the Android 7.0 Nougat update via OTA, but it will take some time to hit all devices. Therefore, HTC One A9 users are requested to wait until the updates hit the phone. Users can also check for the update manually via Settings > About device > System updates and click on the "Check for updates" button.

HTC One A9 users are requested to backup the data and maintain at least 50 percent of battery charge before hitting the download and installation button upon receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat update notification.

HTC One A9 was launched in September 2015 and sports a 5.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels at a PPI of 441 pixels per inch. Under the hood, the device is powered by 1.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor paired with Adreno 405 GPU and 3GB of RAM. In addition, the phone packs 32GB of internal storage that can be expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card.

HTC One A9 features a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 4-megapixel front selfie shooter. It was launched with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is powered by a 2150mAh nonremovable battery. The phone measures 145.80 x 70.80 x 7.30 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 143.00 grams.
