Duke freshman Justise Winslow reportedly is "definitely in play" for the New York Knicks in the 2015 NBA draft. Winslow, whom Knicks president Phil Jackson purportedly has had his eye on, reportedly had a strong showing in his pre-draft workout Monday.

Reports have pegged Winslow as one of the top players on Jackson's draft board, and according to Ian Begley of ESPN, the forward impressed Jackson during his workout for the team.

"Justise Winslow received strong feedback from the New York Knicks following his workout Monday at the team's training facility, according to sources familiar with the proceedings," Begley wrote Tuesday. "League sources familiar with the team's thinking said after the workout that Winslow is 'definitely in play' for the Knicks, who will select fourth in the NBA draft on June 25.

"The sources said the Knicks provided "positive feedback" to Winslow after he put forth a strong performance in the workout."

The 6-foot-6 Winslow is considered by some scouts to be the best wing player available in the draft, and his talent and versatility on defense  - he's a strong defender capable of guarding 2's and 3's - certainly is huge a plus for Jackson. Recently, scouts compared the 19-year-old's on-court ability to Lamar Odom and DeMarre Carroll.

Other prospects linked to New York include Karl-Anthony Towns, Jahlil Okafor, Emmanuel Mudiay, D'Angelo Russell, Trey Lyles and Willie Cauley-Stein.

Mudiay is expected to workout for the Knicks on Tuesday, according to Begley.
