The Washington Redskins and their rookie fourth-round pick, wide receiver Jamison Crowder, are, as expected, remaining relatively mum on the topic of his alleged domestic violence incident.

Crowder's agent Tory Dandy, on the other hand, felt it was necessary to defend his client.

"His account was hacked. Jamison hasn't hit anybody," Dandy said, via John Keim of ESPN.

Crowder, who has been opening a lot of eyes at Redskins OTAs this week, was suddenly beset by a flurry of media activity on Thursday after Crowder's alleged ex-girlfriend broke into his Instagram account and posted photos of herself with bruises and an accompanying message indicating that Crowder was the one who had inflicted them.

"Bv I loved you. I never shared about our bad times. I always made excuses. But now that you've continued to show me that your heart isn't with me, I don't feel like I have any reason to protect you anymore Jamison. I don't want anything from you but I do think the next person deserves to be aware of where your anger takes you," the person wrote, in part. "I refuse to let you hurt me anymore physically or emotionally. People shouldn't be protected from what's wrong, no matter how much I love you. I'm sorry."

Crowder's Twitter account has been deleted and the photos have been removed from his Instagram account.

The Redskins then issued a statement saying they were aware of "an off-field incident" involving Crowder and that they would follow up with the league and had no addition comment.

The NFL said they were "looking into the matter."
