Molly the pit bull and U.S. Marine Veteran Billy Ventura are both saving each other's lives.

Molly was rescued by the local SPCA after the organization was tipped that the pup's human was kicking and abusing her.

Once her rescuers helped her regain trust in humans again, Molly was trained as a service dog and paired with Ventura - who was recently paralyzed in a car accident.

Molly and Ventura hit it off immediately when they met.

"She stopped, she sat by my feet and then she tried to jump and sit on my lap in the wheelchair, so from that point on I knew it was going to be great," Ventura told CBS New York. "She really is an amazing dog."
