After news broke on Wednesday that Bruce Willis is out of Sylvester Stallone's latest hero-packed action movie "The Expendables 3," even more casting news has come up as Mel Gibson and Antonio Banderas join the team.

On Wednesday, Stallone tweeted harsh words at former Expendables ally Bruce Willis, who played Mr. Church, a CIA agent who hired Stallone's band of mercenaries for a job in the previous two films.

"GREEDY AND LAZY ...... A SURE FORMULA FOR CAREER FAILURE," the actor wrote and later confirmed about Willis. Stallone also took that opportunity to announce that Willis was out of the film and that he'd confirmed Harrison Ford in the third film in an, as of yet, undisclosed role.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Willis wanted $4 million for four days of shooting in Bulgaria instead of the $3 million Stallone and the producers offered him. When the two couldn't reach an agreement, Willis was shown the door. He's yet to make an announcement.

On Friday, Entertainment Weekly reported Stallone has confirmed Mel Gibson will follow Jean-Claude Van Damme as the villain in the next film. Gibson had been long rumored to join the cast since Stallone began contacting actors to round out the already star studded cast. The crew will also be joined by Stallone's former Assassins co-star Antonio Banderas, who EW reports Stallone has called "a consummate actor and a gentleman."

Among others teased by Stallone on his Twitter account are Steven Seagal, Jackie Chan and Wesley Snipes. The cast can already boast Terry Crews, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Randy Couture and Jet Li.

Mel Gibson will be showing off his villainous side in the upcoming film "Machete Kills" where he will reportedly wear a cape and threaten Washington with missiles unless the world's most dangerous man, Danny Trejo's Machete" can stop him.
