Jennifer Lopez was just doing her usual sexy thing while performing in Morocco on Monday, but locals are judging her harshly for it.

During the Mawazine music festival, the singer was criticized by the local media for her outfits and performance, which they believe was filled with "suggestive poses," The Jerusalem Post reports.

Lopez's performance, which was seen by 300,000 fans live and was also broadcasted on live television, is being slammed for not only her moves, but for the way she was dressed.

People were wondering if Lopez would tone down her performance for Muslims, but her various outfits, which all showed plenty of skin, seem to indicated she may not have altered her show, which is causing quite a stir.

Islamist members of the ruling Justice and Development party are "disgusted" by the "sexually-charged show," reports to Fox News Latino.

The Communications Minister Mustaphaa Khalifi voiced his opinion on Twitter. "What was broadcast is unacceptable," he wrote. "And goes against broadcasting live."

Another official, Abdessamad Al-Idrissi, has also criticized the event. Posting on Facebook, he characterized the festival as "shameful," and believes it attacks the values of their people and their nation as a whole.

So far, Lopez's has used Twitter and Facebook to frame her experience in Morrocco as positive, and she has not addressed the issue.
