Recent 90210 cast member Lyndon Smith is coming to “Parenthood,” according to HollywoodReporter.com.

Smith’s character Natalie will be Drew’s classmate—and possible love interest—at Berkley. (Smith most recently played Michaela in the final season of 90210.)

"We really wanted to focus on that first year of college and what that's like for Drew," Executive Producer Jason Katims told the website. "You think some people set foot on campus and they're just meant to be there, and then [with] some people, it takes a little bit longer to figure that out. And I think for Drew it's definitely the latter, that he struggles a little to try to figure out where he is. I like the idea of there being obstacles for him at college and [having it] not be simple."

Hopefully for Drew (Miles Heizer) his experience with Natalie turns out better than his relationship with Amy. However, it seems like this relationship will be complicated.

THR reports Natalie will run her and Drew’s friendship. She’ll decide if they are just friends and she’ll also decide if they will take it any further.

It seems Drew’s sister will have better luck with relationships in Season 5. Matt Lauria—who plays Ryan—is reportedly returning to the show, according to TVLine.com citing sources. This likely means the relationship between Ryan and Amber (Mae Whitman) will continue.

Lauria spoke in June about the possibility of returning, to “Parenthood.”

“We don’t know what the details are going to be, but [executive producer] Jason [Katims] recently asked me, ‘Are you up for it?’” Lauria told TVLine. “I told him, ‘I’m up for it!’ And since then, there have been some conversations.”

"Parenthood" is scheduled to return to being its fifth season Sept. 26 at 10/9c.
