A 6-year-old chihuahua named Sugar Baby is available for adoption from Tri-County Animal Rescue in Alexis, N.C. Sugar Baby seeks a home with owners who like to watch movies and snuggle on the couch with their puppies, according to the organization's website. She will also do well with an owner who doesn't have children. If she is placed with one that does have youngsters, she prefers a family with those that don't pinch puppies, since Sugar Baby doesn't like it. 

Those interested in adopting Sugar Baby can take a trip to meet their potential new pet at The Gastonia PetSmart (3698 E. Franklin, Gastonia, N.C.) on Fridays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturdays from noon to 6 p.m., according to Tri-County Animal Rescue.
