Ronda Rousey is set to face Bethe Correia in a UFC fight later this year, but Correia is already throwing some verbal punches.

In a recent interview with the Brazilian site Combate, Correia made some uncalled for remarks pertaining to some of Rousey's personal history, including her past drug use and her father's suicide, The New York Post reports.

"Under pressure, she is proving weak," Correia said. "When her mom put pressure on her, she ran away from home. When she lost, it was because of her drugs. That's not a superhero. She is not mentally healthy; she needs to take care of herself. She is winning, so everybody is around her cheering her up, but when she realizes she is not everything that she believes she is, I don't know what might happen. I hope she does not kill herself later on [laughs]."

Rousey made the personal decision to show people her true, and devastating, past in her autobiographical tell-all book, "My Fight/Your Fight," and these comments prove that Correia is well aware of her opponent's history.

When Rousey got word of Correia's suicide remark, she took to Twitter to respond.

"@bethcorreia suicide is no joke or my selling point," she wrote. "My father will be with me the day I hand you the comeuppance you deserve."

Rousey isn't the only one unhappy about the suicide comment. The Inquistr shows that Twitter users following the conversation between the two fighters believe Correia took it way too far.
