TrueCar, the mobile marketplace for car buying and selling, reports that its 11,000 certified franchise and independent dealers all over the U.S. are expecting to have high traffic across all its sites.

Unique visitors to the site and all its partner sites are about to surpass the 6.2 million record that they forecast for the month of May alone. The activities during the Memorial Day weekend (where promotional holiday deals were offered by automakers), the new marketing campaign of the company with USAA (United Services Automobile Association) and the availability of exclusive incentives for TrueCar consumers are the factors that lead to this increase of visitors and buyers.

"TrueCar Certified Dealers saw great flow from our users this Memorial Day and we're working hard to ensure that our dealer partners have a record summer. Our accountable business model is unique in the industry and so while our dealers are seeing an ever-increasing volume of TrueCar users, we are also enabling them to reduce operating costs and to be more competitive in their local markets," said Mike Timmons, TrueCar's senior vice president of Dealer Relations, according to CNN Money.

"Initial weekend data show that total sales delivered by all dealers in our network worked out to two (cars) per minute," said Chief Executive Scott Painter, Reuters reports.

TrueCar has also started the TrueCash program, which gives incentives that can be used by consumers within TrueCar brands and with its affinity partners.
