Dave Grohl has the reputation of being one of the cooler guys in rock music. These days, for Grohl that includes being a fan of Taylor Swift.

The Foo Fighters frontman is "officially obsessed" with the pop star, he professed to a massive crowd at Radio 1's Big Weekend in London on Sunday night. Swift performed at the festival directly before the Foo Fighters closed the event.

Grohl gushed about his love for Swift before performing one of the band's newer songs, "Congregation," which was written in Nashville, the city she became famous in. The former Nirvana member couldn't contain his admiration for the "Bad Blood" singer, as UTV Ireland reports that Grohl shouted her out multiple times throughout the show:

"'I've done some weird things in my life but I've never before said that Taylor Swift is my opening act ... Taylor motherf**king Swift ... This one is dedicated to Taylor Swift.'

"He went on to dedicate two more songs to the star throughout the show, adding: 'My kids would kill me if they found out (Swift was our opening act) ... To my opening band, Taylor Swift. Taylor and the Swifts.'"

Odds are that the Foo Fighters and Swift will grace the same stage again one day, as both are on top of their respective genres. For Grohl's sake, hopefully Swift doesn't take his love the wrong way, as she has a knack for scorching famous men that wrongfully cross her... lyrically, of course.
