In 2005, he sarcastically told the world to "Have A Nice Day," but now Jon Bon Jovi's singing about a truly "Beautiful Day."

In the new song, the rocker sings about "a time in your life, you want a day to happen twice" and urges everyone to "share this beautiful day before it's taken away." Listen to "Beautiful Day" now:

The tune is from "Finding Neverland: The Album," a compilation featuring reimagined versions of tracks featured in the hit Broadway musical "Finding Neverland," which comes out June 9. The show, about "Peter Pan" author J.M. Barrie, stars Matthew Morrison and Kelsey Grammer and is currently playing at New York City's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.

In a behind-the-scenes video from Republic Records (the label releasing the album), Bon Jovi discusses his "dedication to the project." The 53-year-old knows the fairy tale story all too well since, he says, "Every rock 'n' roll star is Peter Pan—they never want to grow up!"

Bon Jovi, who received an honorary doctorate in letters from New Jersey's Rutgers University on May 21, is working on a new Bon Jovi band album.
