Losing weight after having a baby can be a long and difficult, but reality star mama Kim Kardashian is determined to shed those final pounds before reintegrating back into the spotlight. From breastfeeding her new baby North "Nori" West to post-baby weight loss, Hollywood Life has the scoop on how the new mom is doing!

Kardashian's highly publicized pregnancy made her an instant media target, as tabloids slammed her baby body and critiqued her for wearing heels during her often-times difficult pregnancy. Despite the visciousness of the media, Kardashian remained strong with her held held high, proudly showing off her curves while attending events with her boyfriend Kanye West or out in public with friends or mom Kris Jenner.

Speaking of Jenner, she recently spoke of her daughter's weight loss on her new talk show, "Kris," which Kardashian made a brief appearance on via pre-recorded video message, sadly sans Nori, where she told her mom (and us!) that she's "loving life at home."

Jenner reported on her show that her daughter "is happy and healthy," adding, "She's eating really well, working out a little bit, and nursing."

Since the birth of North, Kardashian and West have been staying at Jenner's mansion while their own multi-million dollar home undergoes renovations. The new father has reportedly taken a likening to fatherhood, despite alleged struggles with Jenner to keep his daughter out of the spotlight and off of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians"...at least for now.

Since Kardashian has been breastfeeding, weight loss is likely not her first priority, though she is adamant about getting her body back in tip-top shape. Sean "Diddy" Combs, who made an appearance on "Kris," claimed that breastfeeding Nori would help Kardashian's body "snap back" to its original form, though Jenner explained that her daughter is "not there yet."

"Kim and baby North are doing fabulously. Kim is having no difficulty at all with breastfeeding and as a result, is losing weight easily," a source told Hollywood Life. As for West, he doesn't seem bothered one way or another by his girlfriend's weight, which is a natural part of childbirth.

Hopefully we'll see Kim Kardashian back in action soon, and maybe even get a glimpse of adorable baby Nori...if Kanye West allows it, that is!
