The Kardashians have done some stuff in the past that has given them a somewhat bad reputation, and now their younger sister is the one paying for it.

19-year-old model and reality star Kendall Jenner may be getting a bad rep because of some of the "baggage" tied to her family. Some of the top film producers at the Cannes Film Festival passed right by Jenner and moved on to GiGi Hadid instead, Hollywood Life exclusively learned. 

"Many producers feel they could cast Gigi in a film, and they would have no stigma to it," a source revealed. "But there would be a stigma if the billboards said, 'Starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kendall Jenner.' That just doesn't work. Gigi is the darling, and Kendall has a lot more proving to do because in many producers eyes they have a lot more to lose by casting Kendall in anything."

It turns out the producers are more interested in Hadid. Even though her family is also well known, they are much more low-key than the entire Kardashian clan.

"They feel that Gigi is more exotic looking, doesn't carry the baggage that Kendall does with her family, and Gigi is more of a fresh that they would love to give a chance to over Kendall," the source added.

Producers love that Hadid has "a natural elegance and believe she has an incredibly bright future."

Jenner is a successful model and hasn't specifically had any baggage of her own, but everything associated with her family is "bringing her down."

All this drama doesn't seem to be bringing Jenner down, though! She's been having an awesome time ever since she got to Cannes.
