Who will be Christian Grey? That's the question many "Fifty Shades" fans want to know. Now that fan-favorite Ian Somerhalder is out of the running, it's left up to top contenders Henry Cavill and Matt Bomer to see who (if either) will be cast as the DBSM obsessed billionaire in the upcoming movie "Fifty Shades of Grey."

Both actors have remained as favorites to play opposite Anastasia Steele's character. They have "starred" in countless unofficial trailers, ranked among the top on polling sites and have Facebook fan pages dedicated to them.

Both actors have the physical look of Christian Grey and both are gorgeous. If it does come down to the two of them it would probably be based on how interested they are in the role, of course their acting skills and their chemistry with whoever is cast as Anastasia Steele.

Bomer hasn't really said much about being a top contender for the movie even when he was asked in an interview. According to Wetpaint, the "White Collar" actor was questioned about being in the movie by Metro, a UK newspaper. Bomer responded by saying that he didn't want to comment but then changed his mind.

"[It's] very flattering that I've got fans who would like to see me in things," the "Magic Mike" star said.

To some fans that might have come across as he's not that interested in the role. Cavill, on the other hand, has been a lot more vocal about playing the role. At first he was criticized for a comment he made about the movie in May during a press conference.

"Put it this way, I've not read a script, spoken to a producer or director," he said. "Not exactly chaste writing is it. I've always preferred the implied sex scenes anyway, because having it spelled out always seems a bit tacky."

He did seem to have a change of heart during a radio interview where he said he felt like his role as Superman in "Man of Steel" wouldn't be a problem if he was picked to play Christian Grey.

They both have been featured in fan-made trailers starring top contenders Alexis Bledel, Emilia Clarke and Lucy Hale as Steele. Even though the trailers aren't the actors actually acting it does give a good visual whether fans could actually see them paired with the ladies as a couple in the real movie.

Fans also believe both to have the acting skills needed to pull off the role. Cavill has had more success in big-time movies but as Fiftyshadesmovie.org pointed out Bomer got his start in soap operas and could "give great dramatic pauses and stares perfect for our Christian Grey."

Both actors also have a strong fan base but Bomer fans have been pulling a lot harder to get the "White Collar" actor cast or at least noticed. Bomer's Facebook page has 165,000 likes compared to Cavill's Facebook page which has a little over 7,000. It was also rumored that during Christian's Grey's birthday celebration tweets there was more people who mentioned Bomer as Grey than Cavill or Ian Somerhalder.

Who would you pick as Christian Grey? Matt Bomer or Henry Cavill?
