Honey Boo Boo has lost 8 pounds in a month and Mama June couldn't be prouder of her little girl.

"Cause everyone wants to know how Alana doing," June Shannon captioned an Instagram photo of her daughter on May 19, "She has lost almost 8 pds from 125.5 to 118 so Far in a [month] im so proud of her."

The mother of four credits her daughter's smaller portion sizes, walking for exercise and most of all, the encouraging support from their personal trainer, Natasha Fett. Fett also has helped Shannon lose 45 pounds in a little over a month and her other daughter Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon drop 26 pounds in that same time.

"Believe us or not but [Fett] is awesome supportive encouraged us when we felt like we couldn't or didn't [want] to do it she was always a call or text away encouraging telling us we r doing awesome and this is what has helped us not just the support of us as a family unit but the support from someone who genuinely cares about us successful getting healthier and changing your minds," June wrote.

The "Honey Boo Boo" matriarch blasted "The Doctors" program for providing no support to reach their weight loss goals, and blamed tricky editing for making it seem like she and her family don't care about their health. In an episode that has already aired, the audience booed Mama June when it appeared that she had done little to help her daughter Alana get healthy, according to Us Weekly.

"I'm sorry but in the [month] the show 'THE DOCTORS' was in our lives she lost nothing," June wrote. "They wanted her to fail I feel from the beginning... we wasn't on a 10 wk program like they want y'all to believe they flew us back in almost a [month] after the first appearance and they separate this show that will air tomorrow but in real life it was filmed back on April so I know they r going to make it looks like we don't care but we do."

Mama June admitted that the family did struggle with the switch to a healthier diet, but once again, she's proud of the changes that she and her daughters have made in their lives.

"Its not hard to [do] it it's mind over matter and yes im not going to lie it was hard at first," she wrote and then thanked their trainer again. "She has really made a HUGE difference in us and we thank u from the bottom of our hearts."
