A 9-month old boy from Bellevue in Washington State is now being called a "miracle baby" after surviving and remaining unhurt even though an SUV slammed through the walls of his nursery and crashed into his crib.

"It really was pretty miraculous that there was no injury... The baby was kind of resting on top of the debris," Police Officer Seth Tyler told the Bellevue Reporter.

Investigators say the 34-year-old female behind the wheel was just learning how to drive and mistook the gas pedal for the brakes while trying to park at the carport of the nearby Hampton Greens Apartments.

The crib was heavily damaged by the impact. But against all odds, the baby was fine. Medics on the scene checked the baby's condition and determined that he was in remarkable good health, according to ABC News.

The baby's parents hurried over to the room after hearing the crash and immediately called for authorities. For now, they are staying at their neighbor's home, since the damages to their house was extensive.

The driver of the SUV has not been named or charged. Test have confirmed that she was not under the influence of alcohol at the time. She told authorities that she was simply taking driving lessons from her husband and made a mistake.
