Lorraine Toussaint spoke out about Vee's possible return to "Orange Is The New Black" after fans swore they saw her in the background of the season 3 finale trailer.

Season 2 ended with Vee (Toussaint) getting hit by Miss Rosa's getaway van, but it was unclear if the hit would be fatal or not.

Vee wasn't motionless after getting hit in the woods, but no one knew about her whereabouts to get her medical attention since she, too, just escaped from the prison.

After the season 3 trailer was released by Netflix on April 9, fans swore they saw Vee in the background of a scene in the cafeteria.

"I had someone recently say, 'So, is Vee dead, or is she dead dead?' All I can say is, 'Well, as far as I know, she's dead,'" Toussaint told Yahoo TV.
Despite her reveal, Toussaint also said that with creator Jenji Kohan anything can happen.
"The mind of [creator] Jenji Kohan is such that I would never presume to even think I know what she's doing, where she's going, how she's rolling," said Toussaint. "Nor should I, because good Lord, she created some extraordinary moments."
Season 3 of OITNB will be available on Netflix on June 12.
