Rumer Willis was announced as the winner of the 20th season of "Dancing With The Stars," beating second-place finisher Riker Lynch and Noah Galloway, who came in third, to win the coveted mirrorball trophy, according to ABC News.

The results came from the combination of the viewers' votes and judges' scores, and the contestant who received the highest combination score was declared the winner of the competition.

After their names were called out, Willis shrieked and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy leaped for joy. They were then surrounded by their fellow season cast members. Willis had been the standout all throughout the competition, impressing the judges and viewers during the first live show of the season with a stunning foxtrot.

After finishing in second place, Lynch said this is an experience he will remember for the rest of his life. "The whole experience has been unbelievable. The friend that I've made in [pro partner] Allison Holker, I mean, it's so unbelievable" said the singer-songwriter.

Third-place finisher Galloway was equally grateful for the experience and the support from fans throughout the competition. "You know... I thought, three weeks at the most I'd be here. I made it to third place and I'm so happy with that and it's because of all the support," said the former U.S. soldier, with his pro partner Sharna Burgess by his side.

The star-studded two-hour finale featured the return of all the cast members, featuring performances from Redfoo, Patti LaBelle, Robert Herjavec and Suzanne Somers.

Singer Jason Derulo also performed, while host Tom Bergeron announced that Alfonso Ribeiro would be taking over as the frontrunner of his other program, "America's Funniest Home Videos."
