The Internet is speculating whether a tweet Former "Cosby Show" and "That's So Raven" actress Raven Symone sent on her Twitter account means she has officially "come out" as a lesbian.

Symone posted on Twitter Friday the following: "I can finally get married! Yay government! So proud of you."

Rumors ignited last year about the actress' sexual orientation when The National Enquirer published a story claiming Symone had fallen in love with AzMarie Livingston, an androgynous female model who competed on "America's Next Top Model."

Symone, 27, rose to stardom in her role as Olivia, cute, funny 3-year-old on "The Cosby Show" in the late '80s.  She took her talents to the Disney Channel where she stared in "That's So Raven," a series about a teenage psychic and her adventures.  Symone also starred in "The Cheetah Girls" TV movies.

According to the Enquirer, Lesbian rumors overwhelmed the starlet since 2008, and she has denied or refused to comment since.

However, Enquirer sources in 2012 said Symone is gay and was living with rumored girlfriend AzMarie Livingston in a luxury $11,000-a-month New York City condo.

"Raven has lost almost 30 Pounds, has done a whole image makeover, and now she is the star of 'Sister Act' on Broadway," the source told the Enquirer.  "She's at a point now where she doesn't care what her family thinks, and she's in love with AzMarie. She's a lesbian and wants to live that way...She feels her parents are still trying to treat her like she's a kid, and she's told them she's going to do what she wants."

The actress tweeted an alleged response to the stories about the Enquirer: "My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I'm datings to know. I'm not one for a public display of my life. "

According to the Enquirer, Symone has hidden being gay for a quite some time.

"Raven has hidden being gay for a long time now," the unnamed source told the Enquirer.  "When her family found out, they blew their stack and it's created a gay scandal for Raven...She told her parents she loves them, but her home - especially her bedroom - is nobody's business, and she was not going to back down, so they needed to accept it, period."

Symone has yet to confirm her sexual orientation to the public.
