It seems there really isn't anything Russian President Vladimir Putin can't do once he puts his mind to it.

The accomplished fisherman, formula one racecar driver, mixed martial artist and, oh yeah, leader of an entire country, can also play a little puck.

The 62-year-old Putin threw on his skates and took to the ice in one of the former Sochi Olympic arenas for a game against other top Russian officials, which you can see below in a video posted to YouTube on Saturday.

As everyone was clearly giving their best effort, it's incredibly impressive that Putin was able to walk away from the contest with eight, count them, eight goals, in his side's 18-6 victory.

Ironically, RT.com, also known as Russia Today, which bills itself as a global news network broadcasting from Moscow and Washington, states that the league in which Putin took part for a night is called the NHL - an acronym for Night Hockey League and totally not a rip-off of the National Hockey League.

Not uh, no way.
