The Edge didn't see the edge. U2 guitarist The Edge is fine after taking a nasty fall off the stage during the opening night of the band's world tour in Vancouver on Thursday.

In a clip post on Instagram, the 53-year-old, whose real name is David Howell Evans, can be seen rocking out to a performance of "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" at the Rogers Arena, but while playing his guitar he apparently misjudged the unconventional shape of the stage and fell into the first row of seats.

The Edge took to the group's Instagram account to let his fans know that he okay, posting a photo of his scraped up arm with the caption, "Didn't see the edge, I'm ok!"

Sadly, this is only the latest unfortunate mishap for the band. Last November, Bono broke his arm in six spots, fractured his eye socket and also his shoulder blade while riding his bike in Central Park. The singer underwent five hours of surgery, which included repairing his bone with three metal plates and 18 screws.

Bono recently participated in a pre-taped skit with Jimmy Fallon for "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon". In the skit, Bono gets hit three different times by a car while riding a bike.

U2 has just started its Innocence + Experience tour and is expected to play about 70 shows across North America and Europe.
