Raven Symone controversially said that she doesn't want Harriet Tubman to replace Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill.

Tubman, famed for her role as an anti-slavery activist during the American Civil War, won an unofficial contest by Woman on 20s this week. The point of the contest was to spark talks about getting a female face represented on U.S. currency.

"No offense to everyone who's going to be mad at me for saying this: I don't like that idea. I don't like it," Symone said on "The View" Wednesday morning. "I think we need to move a little bit forward."

Symone argued that Tubman wasn't "progressive enough" to be on the bill.

"Let me just preface [by saying], I understand the history. I get it, trust me. I was taught, I'm in that culture. But there's also Wilma Mankiller, there's also Rosa Parks, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Harriet Tubman."
