Golden State's two straight losses shocked many in the NBA world, but the No. 1 seeded Warriors bounced back and responded Monday with a 101-84 blowout of Memphis. The Warriors tied the series at 2-2 on the back of star Stephen Curry's 33 points, with forward Draymond Green and guard Klay Thompson adding  16 and 15 points, respectively.

"Tonight we took a step towards understanding that sense of urgency and kind of competitiveness and physicality to the game," Warriors coach Steve Kerr told the Associated Press. "It was probably our most competitive effort, definitely of the series, but probably of the playoffs just in terms of understanding you got to play every second."

Memphis, meanwhile, trailed for most of the game. Grizzlies star Marc Gasol led with 19 points and 10 rebounds, with forwards Zach Randolph and Jeff Green chipping in with 12 points apiece.  Golden State had a strong first quarter, and Grizzlies coach Dave Joerger admitted that's when things began to unravel for his team.

"We lost our composure early in the first half, especially in the first quarter," Joerger said. "We needed to keep that closer in the first quarter. We had a chance there. Our offense really struggled tonight, and it put our defense in a bad way."
