UPDATE: The BBC is reporting that 29 people were killed and 1,009 were reported injured, according to local officials.

Nepal suffered another earthquake with a 7.4-magnitude today, just two weeks after it was rocked with a similar devastating upheaval that left 8,000 people dead, TVNZ reports.

According to the United States Geological Survey, the earthquake took place on the eastern part of Kathmandu with a 15km depth.

It was then followed by three intense aftershocks: a 5.6-magnitude that was 10 km deep, 5.4-magnitude with a depth of 15 km and another 15 km depth with a magnitude of 6.3.

This particular temblor comes after a stronger 7.8 earthquake with a 15 km depth jolted the country on April 25.

No damage has been reported at this time.
