Cashew the abandoned kitten arrived at a PetSmart store covered in fleas but he was quickly adopted by an amazing woman who couldn't stand to see him suffer alone. 

The next day, the woman took Cashew to the vet, who treated him for his fleas and left him looking like a brand new kitten, the woman wrote on Imgur. 

By that night, Cashew gained so much strength that he was happily walking around the house. The day after that, he was even grooming himself! 

Cashew's rescuer was originally planning to just foster the tiny kitten until he was well and could be adopted by someone else. Instead, Cashew worked his charm and his rescuer decided to keep him!

Cashew now lives with his heroic human, a dog and another cat friend. 

When he's not spending his days playing with his new animal friends, he's often caught snuggling with his rescuer's teddy bear!
