"The Voice" coaches praised nearly every singer's performance as their "best performance" on Monday night's show, but strong performances could only save five of the six remaining contestants heading into Tuesday's results show.

Four contestants received early saves including Team Pharrell's Sawyer Fredericks and Koryn Hawthorne (the assumed frontrunners), Team Blake's Meghan Linsey and Team Adam's Joshua Davis. That left Team Christina's final two contestants, Kimberly Nichole and India Carney, to battle it out for the Twitter save.

Twitter fans split nearly 50-50, but Carney's performance of "Perfect" by Pink ultimately led to her triumph over Nichole, who rocked her performance of "Seven Nation Army" by The White Stripes. The instant fan vote saved Carney for a second consecutive week.

"I'm going to miss the camaraderie between all the contestants," Nichole told Headlines & Global News. "There are so many incredibly talented people that I love hanging with and getting coached by Christina as well as performing in front of the coaches. But I'm hopeful that after this I can ride the wave and have it take me to places I never imagined."

Christina Aguilera gave her a few words advice before she moves on from the NBC singing competition.

"I've been thinking ahead," the Seattle native said. "Christina taught me to surrender to the moment, give it your all and let things happen as they may and that's something I'll definitely take away from all of this."

"The Voice" kicked off the night by welcoming back a few successful finalists from seasons past. Season five winner Jacquie Lee performed first on homecoming night with her new single, "Tears Fall," penned by Sia.

"It's cool that I get the opportunity to come back and share this with the world and my 'Voice' family. Just coming back and seeing all the familiar faces is so nice," Lee told HNGN.

Lee has struggled since exiting the show, but she continues to persevere in the tough music business.

"It was rough and it's scary," the 17-year-old singer admitted. "The brutal fact is after the show you just have to keep reminding yourself why you are doing this. It's a hard business with trying to stay relevant and be your own person and not just someone from a TV show. But it is possible."

Things aren't all bad. The soon-to-be high school graduate did get to work with the wig-wearing, "Chandelier" singer, Sia. The collaboration was a dream come true for Lee.

"I had to play it cool when they told me [about the opportunity]," she gushed to HNGN. "I was like, 'Oh? Yeah, cool. I'll take that.' But really I was about to explode inside."

Last night's show also included performances by Avery Wilson (Season 3), Vicki Martinez (Season 1 finalist) and last season's champion, Craig Wayne Boyd. The former Team Blake singer performed his new single "I'm Still Here," inspired by his final week on "The Voice" and written in an unconventional way.

"I was walking through the set and all of the stagehands were saying, 'Hi.' My response was, 'Yeah, I'm still here.' I thought there's a song in that, so I sat down with some friends at 3 or 4 in the morning via Skype and we penned it," Boyd told HNGN.

The semi-final rounds begin next week with all the coaches' teams represented. It's sure be an epic battle.

"The Voice" airs on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
