Skye has developed a deep bond with her fellow Inhumans, but her S.H.I.E.L.D. family believes the super-human species pose a great threat.

In the latest sneak peek for "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," Skye (Chloe Bennett) pleads for Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Agent May (Ming-Na Wen) to protect the Inhumans against the "Real S.H.I.E.L.D." team and to simply leave the group alone. The veteran S.H.I.E.L.D. agents hold out and try to convince the young agent that they're not the enemy.

Skye may not see it that way anymore since she learned of how Agent May received the nickname, "The Cavalry" (revealed in a previous episode, "Melinda"). She calls out May for killing the young girl in Bahrain who was an Inhuman.

"So you, of all people, should understand why they'd want to keep their location secret," Skye fires back at May's insinuation that the group is dangerous.

The episode titled "Scars" will show Skye's struggle between being loyal to S.H.I.E.L.D. and her connection with the Inhumans, and Coulson will reveal a secret he's been hiding from nearly everyone.

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." airs on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on ABC.
