If Kylie and Kendall Jenner's trademark applications are accepted, no other people in the fields of entertainment, fashion or pop culture will be allowed to use their first names.

Yes, you read that right.

The Jenner sisters filed an application last month to trademark their respective first names, reported TMZ.

The applications filed by Kylie, 16, and Kendall, 18, state that they want to trademark their individual first names for "entertainment in the nature of providing information by means of a global computer network in the fields of entertainment, fashion and pop culture" and "by a celebrity, actress and model."

If the application is accepted this could become an issue for celebrities who already share the same first name as the girls, including Australian singer Kylie Minogue.

Minogue often goes solely by the name of Kylie. She trademarked her full name - not just her first name - so conflict could occur if the teens' trademark applications are approved.
