Everyone who watched Jimmy Fallon's Kentucky Derby prediction using puppies quickly regretted not taking the skit seriously enough.

On April 30, Fallon reenacted the upcoming derby using puppies named after the top 16 choices of horses as a way of predicting Saturday's race.

As it turns out, the puppy prediction was right.

The pup representing American Pharoah won the puppy derby, and the actual American Pharoah won the derby Saturday night!
