AMC has yet to announce the exact dates in which season six of "The Walking Dead" and its companion series "Fear The Walking Dead" will premiere. However, rumors have cropped up that the spin-off will hit airwaves on or around June 12.

This is, of course, unconfirmed but a summer release date makes sense. It would enable the new show to establish itself in enough time without overlapping with season six of "The Walking Dead" which is expected to return in the fall. However, June 12 falls on a Friday which is not the ideal launching day for a new series. It's more likely that "Fear The Walking Dead" will debut on Sunday, June 14.

The new series is expected to cover the onset of the zombie plague and the early collapse of society. The series will not, however, provide fans with the answers to some of their burning questions.

"The Walking Dead" is expected to return on October 11. Again, this is unconfirmed but the previous three seasons have each premiered on the second Sunday in October. It would make sense that, at the height of popularity, the show continues on its successful trend.
