LG has just launched its new flagship smartphone: the LG G4, its latest high-end handset model designed to contend with Apple's iPhone 6, Samsung's Galaxy S6, Motorola and Google's Nexus 6, and HTC's M9.

Aesthetically, the G4 looks almost identical to its predecessor, the G3. It features a similar plastic body, with the slight differences of having square-shaped indents along the back panel and a slight curve to its backing, which makes the device easier to hold. The G4's premium back covers are available in metallic gray, ceramic white, gold, and genuine leather. The genuine leather option has its own range of distinct colors and features an attractive threaded stitch.

LG said the G4 comes with a 16MP rear-facing camera with F1.8 lens and an 8MP front-facing camera. Clear and vibrant pictures can be snapped in a jiffy with the phone's laser detection auto-focus and OIS 2.0 - an improved optical image stabilizer that reduces camera shake; and with the smartphone's 5.5" IPS quantum display, photos stay vivid.

The G4 runs on a Qualcomm® SnapdragonTM 808 Processor with X10 LTE, with an AndroidTM 5.1 Lollipop operating system. Features inlcude 3GB RAM, 32GB eMMC, and a Micro-SD card slot of up to 2TB. A 3,000mAh removable battery is responsible for providing power.
