San Antonio pushed its series lead to 2-1 on Saturday with a convincing 100-73 home win at home against Los Angeles. Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard again showed why he's the future of the team, leading with a game-high 32 points.

"He continues to impress me every time he's out there," San Antonio veteran Tim Duncan said, according to ESPN. "He can put on a show like that in a situation like this. It's not only great for us, but it's impressive to watch. ...

"He did it the right way, he stayed within our offense. He got some shots going early on, and then he just kind of got comfortable and kind of got on a roll. Then you see him start to see his level of difficulty kind of going up, shooting over double-teams, fading away, making plays, and from there, he was just off to the races."

Spurs coach Gregg Popovich added: "He has really progressed by leaps and bounds on both ends of the floor. He's turned into a fine offensive player, as well as a defensive player. He's not a one-trick pony kind of guy. He's something else."

Spurs center Boris Diaw added 15 points, and guard Danny Green put up 11 on a night that saw Duncan and guard Tony Parker limited to a combined 10 points.

San Antonio's defense played the biggest part of the game, stifling the Clippers and restricting stars Blake Griffin and Chris Paul to just 21 points combined.
