Bruce Jenner is looking forward to reintroducing himself into society tonight during Diane Sawyer's two hour special of 20/20, the former Olympican will speak publicly about his transition for the first time.

An inside source told Us Weekly that when Jenner said "My whole life has been getting me ready for this" in the promo for the interview, he wasn't exaggerating.

"Bruce told Diane he has wanted to be a woman for as far back as he can remember," the source source told Us Weekly. "He always felt it and kept burying it."

In the time since Jenner came out as transgender, he received support from his family, on Twitter from his followers, and even some fellow celebrities.

"It's an incredibly brave thing to do, especially when you're older," Elton John said during a red carpet interview with Access Hollywood. "I admire him for doing it and I support him 100 percent."

David Furnish jumped into John's interview, agreeing that he's in full support of Jenner.

"I admire him for doing it and I support him 100 percent," Furnish said.

Jenner's interview with Sawyer about his transition will air on ABC tonight at 9/8 central.
