Even though getting pregnant takes two people to do it, Most people think that you only need to track the woman's fertility in order to maintain the best chances for having a baby.

However, one app is looking to change that. Glow is an app developed by Mike Huang (with the assistance of PayPal co-founder Max Levchin) that helps women manage their reproductive system. A woman can use it to either avoid a pregnancy or to have one. Glow's most recent update adds a new capability: tracking a man's ability to reproduce.

"Men's reproductive health plays an equal role when a couple is trying to conceive." Huang told Wired. "We believe men, just like women, can benefit from a deeper understanding."

The app lets men keep a daily log of their various activities and how these activities affect their fertility rate. For example, if the user records their smoking habit, the app will note how that affects his fertility rate. It can also be used to track nutrition and a number of other factors that have been scientifically verified to leave an impact on a man's fertility rate.

"Men will have access to forums where they can ask questions confidentially. They can also link their apps to their partners' accounts app to view such useful information as where their partners are in their menstrual cycles. The data that partners can view about each other is clearly labeled," Wired reported.

Huang says that he sees Glow as "a data science company, one that's conducting the largest-ever study on reproductive health." In fact, he hopes that the data that Glow collects about reproductive health can be used to help scientists better understand human reproductive health.
