Robert Downey Jr. got up and left mid-interview when he was speaking with Channel 4 News' Krishnan Guru-Murthy once questions started to get personal.

The beginning of the interview was informative, but uneventful, when the pair discussed Downey's new film "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

After some time, Guru-Murthy made the mistake of transitioning to asking about the actor's time in prison, where he was doing time for drug possession.

"The reason I'm asking you about your past is you've talked in other interviews about your relationship with your father and the role in all of that of the dark periods you went through, taking drugs and drinking and all of that. I just wondered whether you think you're free of all of that or whether that's something..."

Downey cut Guru-Murthy off before he could finish.

"I'm sorry, I really don't. What are we doing?" Downey asked before getting up, taking off his mic, and leaving.
