Most people accept defeat when it comes to losing arcade claw games.

But failure wasn't an option for 4-year-old Henry Howes, who got stuck inside the machine when he climbed in after not getting the toy he wanted at a swimming pool center in Straffordshire county, England.

"I don't know how he managed to get there," Henry's mother Emma told Yahoo! News on Monday. "He's only four but he's a tall lad."

The game started innocently enough- Henry asked his mom for money to play the arcade game with the hopes of winning a stuffed Minion toy from the popular animated movie "Despicable Me."

The claw didn't deliver the yellow prize like Henry hoped, so he stuck his hand inside the opening where the machine drops the toys.

But he reached too far and ended up stumbling all the way inside the machine, Yahoo! News reported. His 9-year-old brother, who witnessed the scene unfold, ran to their mother for help.

"His brother came back and said 'Henry is stuck in the machine,'" Emma said. "I assumed he meant his hand- I didn't think he'd be inside the machine. He was completely inside it."

It took 30 minutes for staff to find the keys to open the machine and free its tiny prisoner.

"I was laughing my head off. I could see that he was fine and he wasn't upset," Henry's mom told Yahoo! News.

After her son was freed, Emma asked if Henry could keep the Minion, which staff happily agreed to.

Emma told Yahoo! News "he hasn't let go of it since."

If Henry's case wasn't bizarre enough, a 3-year-old boy in Nebraska who went missing from his home last year was also found stuck inside a claw crane machine at a bowling alley.
