Despite popular belief, the St. Louis Rams are a pretty decent football team. The front seven is fearsome and the defensive line is arguably the best in all of football. There's a nice stable of capable running backs and a few solid complimentary receivers. All that has really been missing is a consistent quarterback.

Head coach Jeff Fisher hopes that issue has been solved with the team's offseason trade for Nick Foles. But to try and ensure Foles' success, Fisher and general manager Les Snead may provide their new QB with a top of the line weapon in this year's NFL Draft. Specifically, West Virginia's Kevin White may be targeted with the No. 10 overall pick.

"The Rams really need a No. 1 receiver, and this scenario breaks well for them with White falling all the way to No. 10," ESPN NFL Draft Insider Todd McShay wrote in his Mock Draft 4.0. "He has a great combination of size (6-foot-3, 215 pounds) and speed (4.35-second 40-yard dash at the combine), and is a one-on-one matchup problem in the red zone and on vertical routes. They also could consider an offensive lineman here, with Brandon Scherff, La'el Collins and Ereck Flower all possibilities, depending on who is left on the board when they pick."

The Rams have been mentioned to be interested in wide receivers in the draft for some time now, with Louisville's DeVante Parker and UCF's Breshad Perriman coming up as the most common possibilities. But if St. Louis really is targeting White, they may have to compete with the Oakland Raiders (No. 4), New York Jets (No.6) and Chicago Bears (No. 7) to get him.

Stedman Bailey and Brian Quick are good ball players but neither has the raw ability and upside of White. Although White has only one year of big time production at WVU, he'd be the type of weapon Foles can rely on to make plays. But will he drop all the way to 10? We'll have to wait to find out.

The NFL Draft kicks off on April 30.
