"The Voice" Top 10 shrunk to Top 8 after two more contestants were sent packing last night.

Following Monday night's performances, Joshua Davis and Deanna Johnson from Team Adam and Rob Taylor from Team Christina found themselves in the bottom three after audience voting. The three singers took the stage again on Tuesday to fight for the instant Twitter save to stay alive for another week.

Heartfelt pleas from the voting audience and the coaches for all the contestants could only save one. Davis received the most votes, which eliminated Johnson and Taylor.

"I was worried about being in the bottom three again this week, and not wanting to be there again," Johnson told Headlines and Global News after Monday's performance show.

She had to look on the bright side, though. Johnson originally auditioned in season 5, but that season none of the coaches spun their chairs for her. "Now I've made Top 10," the Georgia native said.

As much as she'll miss singing on "The Voice" stage, Johnson will also miss the friends she has made while on the NBC singing competition show.

"I'm going to miss the people," she said. "I've learned so much during this competition and some of the people here have been singing for so long and have been mentors to me. Kimberly [Nichole] is a veteran at this kind of thing and helped me so much - the same with Joshua. Just getting to know these people is something I'm going to really miss."

Taylor shared his fellow exiting contestant's thoughts.

"I'm going to miss the people, you build so many great relationships with people and the show. But I'm excited to see where my career heads and use everything the show was given me," he told HNGN on Monday night.

Both contestants plan to use the skills they learned from the show, beyond their talents of singing and performing on stage.

"Doing social media is a big thing and jumping on opportunities while you're still hot from the show," Johnson said about what she learned from her experience. "I'm going to keep singing no matter what and I'm excited to see what happens."

Taylor learned he has to stop saying, "I can't," a phrase he used to often before "The Voice."

"The show has taught me I can do so much more than I thought I could. It's given me so many life tools that I can't wait to use on my journey," he said.

"The Voice" returns with the Top 8 performances on Monday at 8 p.m. on NBC.
