After one goat was freed from a wooden collar by Edgar's Mission, she delivered her thanks in an unexpected way.

She gave birth to a kid!

This was an amazing way to thank her Australian rescuers who later posted about her delivery on their Facebook page

"Not even 24 hours had passed since the arrival of 16 Boer goats to our sanctuary than we realised we had actually saved 17 lives," Edgar's Mission wrote.

When Edgar's Mission saved the mother goat she was among a herd of goats who had wooden yokes put around their necks.

The sanctuary happily freed the 17 goats, but it cannot afford to keep them all so it is searching for a safe forever home to send them too.

"And it goes without saying, (but we will), they are for lovin' not the oven (or breeding, on selling etc etc)," Edgar's Mission wrote in the post.
