Kim Richards may have partied a little too hard on Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

Police responded to "a report of a possible fight" at the Beverly Hills Hotel at 1:30 a.m. on Thursday morning, according to a statement from the Beverly Hills Police Department obtained by People. Officers then took the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star into custody at 2:04 a.m.

Richards displayed signs of "alcohol intoxication including slurred speech and belligerent insolent behavior cursing at the officers and resisting arrest," the statement said.

Before police arrived, the 50-year-old reality star had locked herself in the bathroom of the hotel and wouldn't come out. Responding officers were told to "drag her out," according to TMZ.

Once at the station, Richards continued her tantrum and kicked an officer in the leg. The officer was not injured. The police released her at 10:36 a.m. on Thursday with a citation charging her with public intoxication, trespassing, resisting an officer and battery on a police officer, according to People.

She will have to appear in LAX Superior Court on May 10.

Richards has struggled with substance abuse in the past, entering rehab for her problem in 2011. During the recent "RHOBH" reunion, she said she was still sober despite taking a pain pill in one episode.

A few of "RHOBH" co-stars tweeted their support for Richards.

Lisa Vanderpump didn't reference Kim directly in her tweet, but seemed to allude to problems that may have been a long time coming.
