ESPN sideline reporter Britt McHenry was, apparently, irate that she had to pay to retrieve her car from the impound lot of a towing company as video surfaced Thursday of the Worldwide Leader's employee berating a member of the company's staff.

You can check out the video below...

"I wouldn't work in a scumbag place like this," she says. "That's all you care about, taking people's money. With no education, no skill set, just wanted to clarify that. Do you feel good about your job?... So I can be a college dropout and do the same thing?... Maybe if I was missing some teeth they would hire me, huh?... I'm in television and you're in a f------ trailer, honey."

She signs off her tirade by suggesting that the towing company employee - whom The Busted Coverage has identified as Gina Michelle - "lose some weight, baby girl."

ESPN, via Richard Deitsch of Sports Illustrated, released a statement initially stating that they were aware of the video and would be looking into the matter.

Josh Krulewitz of ESPN then revealed that the network had suspended McHenry for one week, effective immediately.

Shortly thereafter, McHenry took to Twitter, sounding a contrite tone.

"In an intense and stressful moment, I allowed my emotions to get the best of me and said some insulting and regrettable things. As frustrated as I was, I should always choose to be respectful and take the high road. I am so sorry for my actions and will learn from this mistake."
