Keiko the lost dog found his way back to his Dartmouth, Canada home with the help of a local bus driver.

He was found dodging cars on a local street when a passerby picked him up and called animal control, reported Herald News

The person who found Keiko was waiting for animal control at a bus stop. When the bus arrived, the driver (and avid dog lover), Gerry O'Donnell, invited them both on the bus because the human had somewhere to be and she wanted to help find the husky's humans.

Once everyone got off the bus O'Donnell posted a picture of Keiko sitting on the bus by himself to the Nova Scotia Lost Dog Network Facebook page

Within minutes the owners were reportedly found.

"I knew she was well taken care of and well loved and I just wanted her to get back home," O'Donnell told Herald News.

Paige Price, Keiko's human, was relieved to be reunited with her safe pup who escaped from her backyard through the snow.
