She's clean and sober now, but Demi Lovato had a bit of a party girl past during her days as a "Camp Rock" Disney star. Continuing her job as a mentor off the show, the "X-Factor" judge recently gave some important sex advice to former runner-ups Emblem3 in a new interview with iHeartRadio.

The California boy band gained popularity on the second season of the U.S. "X Factor," swooned over by thousands of fans, including Lovato herself. "You boys make me swoon," she said after one of their performances on the show, causing their mentor Simon Cowell to jokingly warn her of "boundaries."

Now brothers Wesley Stromberg, Keaton Stromberg and their friend Drew Chadwick are signed to Cowell's label Syco Records, their debut album "Nothing to Lose" set to be released on July 30. The band will open for Selena Gomez on her "Stars Dance" tour this August.

With so much success already under their belt before they've even turned 21, Lovato had some important advice for them, especially when it came to sex and partying.

"They have a crazy fanbase and the girls are screaming and yelling," said Lovato's interviewer.

"I've talked to them before," Lovato answered. "Recently at like a show that I played with them I had a really funny conversation. I get straight down to business, so I'm like, 'Wesley look, things are about to get really crazy, you can't party too hard.'"

According to Lovato, Wesley Stormberg responded that the band was way too tired to party with their crazy new schedule, but Lovato kept at him: "Wrap that s**t up," she advised. "You don't want to get anyone pregnant. You guys are young...just, be careful."

As for why she's so earnest about them being safe, Lovato explained that she can't imagine "going one year from zero to 60" in terms of fame and success. The singer herself spent years working before landing her break-out roles on Disney Channel's "Camp Rock" and "Sonny With a Chance," though she did rise to fame fairly quickly once she did.

"After 'Camp Rock' came out, within one year it exploded. So I'm like, keep your head on your shoulders and don't do anything stupid. Stay focused," Lovato said she told Emblem3.

The star will be doling out more advice and guidance as a judge and mentor on the upcoming season 3 of the U.S. "The X-Factor," set to premiere this fall.
